About Me

I play the violin, piano, and viola da gamba. My current teachers are David Salness (violin), Carol Ireland (piano), and Tina Chancey (guess). In 2000-01 at the Levine School of Music I was Concert Master in the Chamber Orchestra, which was conducted by Charles Ellis. I now play in the Prince George's County Philharmonic (for now, in the first violin section...).

I own several wristwatches (slightly broken...oh, well.) I enjoy many different board games, my favorite (think-wise) being chess (though I do not play it often any more) Currently I have a habit of learning new card games whenever I go to camp (the game that I learned last summer being Durak. It's a Russian card game). I like to draw (this being another thing that doesn't happen as often) and I am interested in calligraphy (or to be exact, copperplate). I like to play on computers, and I also enjoy sewing. I am a coin collector and especially enjoy foreign paper money. I also like taking care of my rabbit (who is getting to be a master at the expectant and pathetic looks). I enjoy paper folding (origami) though I have less time to do it now. I sometimes love reading history books and fiction, especially fantasy. I like cooking (especially when someone's watching a movie in the other room), particularly desserts (hopefully not burning cookies though).
